Dion Jesse Bush was born on March 14, 2006 in Fargo, North Dakota to Albert Garcia and Jennifer Bush. They moved to Battle Lake, Minnesota in 2012.
On December 10, 2020, a light from our family was removed, a voice we loved is stilled, and a place is vacant in our home that can never be filled.
We mourn the loss of Dion; we would have loved to keep. He’s a child of God, God loved him, and needed Dion more. Dion’s life was too short, and he was truly loved by those who knew him.
He attended Battle Lake High School. He was intelligent and was an outstanding student. He helped his Mom with her college homework at age 13 saying, “Mom, I didn’t realize college was so easy”.
Dion was kind, loving and witty. He loved animals and trained dogs. He loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. He was an adrenaline junkie and was fearless. He loved rollercoasters, steep waterslides, and ziplining. After ziplining for the first time Dion said, “next time let’s go sky diving”. He loved to read, play video games, play basketball, run, and walk his dog. He enjoyed bowling and skiing. He was meticulous about his clothing apparel. He loved ice cream. Large DQ Blizzards, large strawberry shakes, and cookie dough ice cream were his three top favorites. He loved living on the lake; swimming, playing badminton with his family on the sand, eating smores by the bonfire, canoeing, and tubing.
He is survived by his parents; Albert and Jennifer, two brothers; Dallas and Dawson Bush, one sister; Mariah Bush, maternal grandparents; John and Shelly Bush and Judy and Dennis Logan, great-grandmother; Gloria Bush, aunts; Stephanie Sauby, Amanda (Dustin) Korynta, Taylor (Dylan) Dockter, and by numerous relatives and friends.
