Murray G. Kadel

Murray G. Kadel, 70, of Stillwater, MN born June 5, 1946, in Fergus Falls passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, peacefully surrounded by loved ones in St. John’s Hospital.
Murray worked as a roofer most of his life in the Minneapolis area, he found delight in spending time with family and enjoyed the outdoors.
Murray met Darlene Armstrong, the two married and had seven children. After many years they divorced. At that time, Murray moved to Stillwater where he lived out the rest of his life with Barb Quinlynn.
Murray enjoyed vacationing and loved visiting his homestead land just out of Erhard where he took pleasure in camping, fishing, hunting and relaxing around the fire. Any chance Murray got he would be cracking jokes and teasing everyone he could. Anyone who knew him could share a fond memory. As a father and grandfather he thrived on living in the moment and enjoying the time he had.
Survivors include: siblings Thomas (Donna), Fred (Bev), Marcine (Jim), Kent (Karen), Children: Travis, Todd, Tonya, Troy, Trent (Cassi), Terry, Carrie (Jai), Special friend Barb Quinlynn, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren along with many special nieces and nephews.
Proceeding in death are parents Floyd and Katherine (Murray), infant daughter Tammy, granddaughter Tiana, two sisters Kate and Mary.
A Celebration of Life will take place 1-5pm, March 19 at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Stillwater, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Barb and family.
