Timothy Martinson, 67, of Peoria Arizona died on October 4, 2023 in the caring hands of Hospice.
Tim was born 2/17/1956 in Fergus falls, MN. The son of Harland and Doris Martinson.
He was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Elbow lake, MN.
Tim graduated Elbow Lake- Wendell High School in 1974. He furthered his education at Fergus Falls Junior College, St Cloud State, and Arizona State University.
He graduated from Arizona State University with a MSW/ Behavior Health Counseling Degree in 1984.
He was employed by Black Family and Child Services as a Behavior Health Coordinator until his retireement in 2018.
On May 15, 1982 Tim married Becky McCabe in Las Vegas NV. To this union came two children {twins} Ryan Martinson and Kristin Martinson.
Tim enjoyed Tennis, golf, watching the Vikings and the Twins. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Tim is survived by his two children Ryan Martinson of Mesa AZ., Kristin Martinson of Avondale, AZ., one sister Joyce Hamilton of Cabot, Arkansas and his wife Becky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harland and Doris Martinson.
He was also preceded in death by paternal grandparents Henry and Melvie Martinson and maternal grandparents Adolph and Evelyn Stenson.
There will be a casual graveside service for family and friends on 7/20/2024 at 11:00 AM.
At the Union Cemetery in Elbow Lake MN.
A celebration of life get together will be held following the service 7/20/24
