Former Fergus Falls resident, James W. Stevens Jr. (79) passed away December 15, 2022 in Naples, Florida. He was born February 14,1943 to Laura and James W. Stevens Sr. in Devils Lake, N.D. He earned a B.S in Biology from UND and a Registered Pharmacy degree from NDSU. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Viet Nam veteran. He and his family moved to Fergus Falls in 1977 where he owned the Professional Pharmacy which he later sold to the Erickson Corporation (More 4 and Sunmart). He continued to manage their pharmacies in south east Minnesota until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his son Paul Stevens, North Mankato, MN, wife Elena Stevens, Naples FL, sister Paula Schmid, Devils Lake, N.D., nieces and nephews, his first wife, Sharon Stevens, Fergus Falls, MN and many friends. A memorial service will be held January 8, 2023 in Naples, FL.
