Staff Development Coordinator
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing the overall operation of staff training based on agency needs. This includes core agency orientation and the implementation of
other specialized and customized training programs for a variety of departmental needs. To determine professional development, leadership and management training needs; provide the appropriate, ongoing training that reflects current standards and practices in the industry. To maintain accurate training records and logs and represent such in agency licensing audits/accreditation reviews. To apply extensive knowledge of curriculum development to make modifications/updates to existing materials or develop new where needed. To coordinate external training/development activities and programs that are requested by staff. Keep abreast of all changes within the realm of these responsibilities. Monitor costs and maintain
agency training budget. Perform other duties as required or requested. This is a full-time position with benefits. Pay is depending on experience.
Qualifications:
College level degree in education, business administration, Human Services, Human Resources or three years of training experience. Ability to become a certified trainer in First Aid/CPR and other required
areas. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel. Experience: Prefer experience working in human services or facilitation of training programs. Skills and Abilities: Must be able to do multiple
tasks simultaneously, ability to build and develop relationships, must be a team player, have good organizational skills. Must be willing to work a varied work schedule. Must be able to pass an MVR and a Background Study or the offer of employment will be rescinded.

evidence of successful completion of Rule 25 training requirements.
